Interconnect Parasitic study and comparison software

Hello everyone
I am new to interconnect study in VLSI,all i knw is only theoretical data that i can get from net about interconnects and its future scope. Is thir any software were can i study about interconnect parasitics and can compare it with future materials like carbon nanaotube for analysis at different factor like power dissipation delay etc
Plz help me or if have any good links plz let me know that can help me in understanding it.

You can study all the parasitics by examining coupling capacitance and coupling inductance with layout effects.

Orthogonal layout is worst case. random vector layout is better case but more complex to satisfy layout with fewest vias.

Interleaved ground tracks rob coupling energy.
