hie ther i need some information about electromagnetic waves propagation in microstrip and I hope you guys could help me.
1) how does the variance of widths and lengths of microstrip affect electromagnetic wave propagations in it ?
2) why does a design becomes smaller in size during realization when using a substrate with high dielectric constant and small thickness ?
3) what are the main function of step discontinuity elements between strips such as MSTEP in ADS ?
4) how does the microstrips with angles such as MCURVE in ADS play role in enhancing the response of a design, such as a bandpass filter?
