Hi

I'm new to broadcasting. I would like to setup a radio link for an fm radio station . The operating frequency of the link must be in the 1.7 GHZ range. The channel bandwidth is 200 KHZ .As i understand a multiplex signal 0..57 KHZ coming from the fm-station must be digitized ,encoded and fed to a digital transmitter in the 1.7 GHZ range .Can anyone point me to the way it is done ?.Should we use comresion before because of limited bandwidth ?. What companies are producing such links and what coding is used ?.
