Inconsistent Transient Temperature Sweep In Spectre with "temp" vs design variable

I am seeing inconsistent issues with cadence temperature sweep during transients. If I specify a transient sweep with a variable called temp_var the temperature changes but when I go to check the temperature error it does not match the temperature sweep using a dc sweep with temperature.

If instead I sweep the temperature with "temp" specture's inherent variable for tempearture then I get consistent results. Sweeping with "temp" vs. using my own variable (tvar) shows almost the same error except for a small window. In that small window I see a weird drop in temperature error I'm try to characterize the temperature error within < 0.1C range.

Anyway help is appreciated, thanks~
