hello,
Could anyone tell me how to change plane wave incidence angle in Floquet port? I have successfully simulated the unit cell (FSS) for normal incidence but what are the settings for various angles of incidence like 30,45,60 etc?..please reply with full details.

if you post the unit cell image, that would be easier to explain.

For floquet, use sines and cosines to come up with the correct angle of incidence at your BC and source. it is easy. for example, you can set the source as k0*cos(alfa), and then floquet BC needs to be as k0*sin(alfa). this way you will have a tilted incidence.

I really don't understand what you are saying. I am posting the image of the unit cell and the research paper I am implementing. As you go through the research paper, its fig.3. that I am talking about. Aren't there any settings in HFSS that would simply require some changes.or you could further explain what you said about the sin and cosine.
