In TV why this Hight Voltage Transformer fit

In TV circuits why this High Voltage (around 30K Vac) is used. And what is the INPUT wattage and the OP wattage.. and give me the circuits
 

The high voltage is needed for the color tube to function. The current consumption is about 300uA/ cathode, so 3x300uA≈1mA. The power needed: 25kV x 1mA=25W, at maximum when the image is intense white.
Don't try to measure this yourself -- it' quite dangerous with conventional multimeters. The values are from tube specifications.
