I'm not sure exactly. But I think it's directory state.
My university is in another city & now I'm not going there. Because my studing is finished. I just want to add my works to my PC (laptop). Now I just want to load simulation states in my laptop.

I think state directory is not "~/.artist_state" in university lab.
I also set different directory as state_directory, e.g. "Analysis_State".

Try to load state in "mygate/Mixer1".

Show me problems which you face in detail.

Since you refer "icfb", do you use Cadence dfII of IC5 ?
If you don't have license of ADE, you can not load analysis state.

If you use Cadence IC6, you must have licenses of ADE-L or ADE-XL.

This means there is no state which you can use.

You can not use mygate/Mixer1 state, since mygate/Mixer1 does not exist.

However you can load mygate/Mixer1 state to different cell.
Create new library.
Then create new cell.
Then load any state of mygate/Mixer1 to it.

I created new library & its name is "x".
But when I load the states, I can't find mygate library.

Also my cadence is "IC 5.1.41". You can see in the picture

Also my university lab data is in the "mnt" folder. In other word, I add university lab data from "mnt" folder and share the university lab data between windows & linux.
