Using an 8038 IC waveform generator, design a pulse generator to produce a positive pulse with pulse width of 100 micro seconds and a pulse repetition of 1 KHz. The output amplitude is to be approximately 10 V.

It sounds unreasonable to use an ICL8038 for a square wave generator:
- it isn't an active product, you have to rely on expensive second source vendors or antique parts dealers
- a simple 555 timer can do better
