I have been using IAR Embedded Workbench for a few months. In the past few days, I noticed that when I click either the "Make" button or "Download and Debug" button, it won't do anything for about 5-10 minutes. After about 5-10 minutes (sometimes it seems longer), it starts.
I haven't updated anything on my machine and am using the same version I always have. I have also tried only running IAR and disconnecting from the network. Even standalone without being connected (physical or wireless), it still waits forever before starting.
I tried looking at the running processes and threads to see what is happening, but I'm not 100% sure I am interpreting everything correctly. I see two threads within the IAR process causing the CPU usage to stay at 12.5%. Nothing is maxing out.
Anyway, any pointers would be greatly appreciative. If you would like more information from me, let me know.

I uploaded a screen shot of the running threads from within the IAR executable. Perhaps I shouldn't be looking there. Not sure where else to look.
