hi .
I am new to the protocols , Can anyone explain . . what are these ?

1. I2C Controller.
2. I2C Master.
3. I2C Slave.

And what is difference between I2C Controller and Master ?

Regards
Sunil .

basically I2C is a communication method.
in this communication technique you can communicate between many devices by only using 2 wires
the limit is only capacitance between these wires and that is 400pf.
one device will controll this communication called I2C MASTER.
all other devices which are communicating are I2C SLAVE'S.
master is also called I2C CONTROLLER because that is handleing all communication.

thank you . . .
And total it has 4 wires
Vcc
Gnd
SDL
SCl
What are uses of SCL ? and can you explain bit abt working of whole circuitry ?

salam
while sendin and receiveing data SCL pin uses for handshaking
and SDA for data bit sending and recieveing.
while generating start and stop condition , both pins together work.

Guys all this data is vital for me thanks for sharing this, I2C master and controller are the same in the I2C communication pattern it is the one machine that controls the whole network while the others are the slaves controlled by the master
