I2C communication with pic16f877a

I need to make voting system .so i need to store all ID(s) for all electors .i try to make it by I2C in micro c but have some problems like how can me choose el address of memory to write or read by I2C1_Rd() and I2C1_Wr() fuctions and how them work?? and what i need as hardware to make that or only for simulation by proteus??? really i need help.thanks

You must first specify if will store data at 8-bit or 16-bit adressable I2C device.
I sugest to take on the web some of thousands ready routine and go.
( I did a driver to I2C at 16F877, but is not simple, due works with several devices, so it´s better don´t share here )
