UART 89S52<=>89S52

I am using two 89S52and I want to communicate between them via UART.
I have to 2 Question.
1. Did I have to use MAX232 in this case[communication through wire]?
2. If I use 413 MHz A.M. Modulator and Demodulator[TTL compatible]
Did have to use MAX232 in this case too.

Thanks.

It sounds like "what goes in, comes out" so in that case you don't need MAX232 either ..
