I took a little project. In that I have to design something like that in telephone (internal network), when someone calls, a message should be played like "with whom do you want to talk", and the reply from the caller should be echoed via speaker. We can use microcontroller like msp430 or 8051. or ... if any better idea is out there.

Can anyone help me in this please?

That actually is a much more than a little project if you want a fully functional device.

You have the telephone interface circuit, the processor, the storage, and the output.

I suggest focusing first on the telephone interface - once that is done, then move on with the rest

Use APR33A3-C2 to store 8 messages. Check for ring. If ring then check if receiver is not picked up. If true send voice data. Send voice data received to speaker. Control the receiver pickup circuit using uC.
