i want to isolate 24V from 5V using any scheme available

hi, i want to connect output of the sensor i.e. 24V to a micocontroller. the problem is i can only attach 5V .... please help me out how to connect the output of the sensor to the controller so that it may also vary depending on the change in input..........
 

You can uses a simple voltage divider with two resistors.
