I want to find a VCO

does anyone knows any VCO that can work in the range of 200-800 MHz. if so I need a link

Re: I want to find a VCO

Z-com and Synergy company have the VCO you want

by the way ,you can custom VCO

I want to find a VCO

also Maxim,Analog,TI,ON Semicductor.
They have parametric tables you select. VCO IC's looks like almost offers.

or you want to design one at that range 200-800 MHz?

Re: I want to find a VCO

Hi,

I think it will be difficult to find a vco with such a frequency ratio (1 - 4 in your case). The most easier to find ratios a mostly 1 - 1.5 or 1 - 2.

Re: I want to find a VCO

:?:

It is very difficult to find VCO with this range 4:1 it will be exotic and expansive thing with non usual working conditions Vtune to 30V?? and lot of power consumption . It is better to use mixing solution. VCO normal range 1:2 (a lot of company produce it) and mixed with fixed frequency. For example: fix frequency 1.5 GHz and VCO from 1.7-2.5GHz wanted frequency separate wit low pass filter at the out of mixer.

Re: I want to find a VCO

I thought of that but I don't want to complicate my PCB design more, I am not a professional PCB designer.

Re: I want to find a VCO

you can find it in minicuits com.!

Maybe the simple solution for your problem is to take 2 VCO from some producer MiniCircuits for example and made simple PIN diode switching between them. But it is also problem you need aditional comand for VCO changing. PCB will be simpler but still more complicate than 1 VCO.
