sorry ,would you like to introduce it in detial?
mcu the type 8 16 32 bits?
serial rs232 rs485 or others?

when you have determined the two items ,you will have to choose the chips and relative software tools.

What kind of help you need ?

Whole system ? Schematic ?

Anyway, you have to find a RS232 interface chip (for example from TI). Then write software to handle the signal handsaking. This is not difficult. You can do it my yourself.

Suggest you consider the Winbond W77LE58
It is an 8051 type with dual UART.
