For Atmel Microcontroller, it depends on what series, 8051 or AVR, for the 8051 series of Atmel you can search the board, there are lots of topics about it. For the AVR, if you want to purchase one, PM me.

For the PIC16F series, search the board also.
 

Just a suggestion.

Microchip has released their new USB chip. Why not make an USB programmer?
 

i think there are available on the market usb programmer
low end kit128 from www.kitsrus.com
high end at xeltek but quite expensive

i want a schematic or pcb for AVR series programmer with all details.
i'm beginner on AVR ,please guide me how to start studing AVR.i know 8051 completely.
