i'm doing a project..that is to communicate the nokia3310 to the pic16f877 microcontroller.. i need the schematics in connecting the two devices.. I have a data cable for nokia 3310..

i'm new to this stuff..

any help will be deeply appreciated!!

u can serch internet for that...the website mentioned above explains the process in a very gud manner....
well in the following link u will find all the related stuff u want... and in the first link there is a schematic for 3310 but u can use MAX232 instead of 74LS04...

Greetings,

you dont need any schematic, just this:

1. A pinout of your phone data cable... and your phone cable connector
2. a pic with UART is recommended... i suggest the pic16f877 or the pic16f628
3. a set or routines (i use ccs c compiler) for send via uart AT Commands -the way to command your phone. For this, search the AT Manual specific for your phone model

3310 communicates via FBUS at 115200bps, PIC16F877 USART is slow
