Yesterday i built something like a giant spdt switch with an 330uF condensator and 12v relay, it also has an 12v pover input. The switch has 3 positions down, middle, and up. When i move the switch to the down or up position, it should send an impulse to my keyboard card which should emulate the G key on the keyboard.
Now wanna add 6ledsto the circuit 3red and 3green. When i move the switch to the down position, then red leds should lit up for 12 seconds and then should green leds stay lit until i move the lever to the up position. When i move it to up position, then the green leds should turn off and the red leds should lit up for 12 seconds.

I would consider using a microcontroller for that kind of functionality.

Start with timing diagram for design.

Down ___-----------__~ _________________

Up . . ______________~ __---------------____

Gkey ____-_________~ __-_____________

Red _____-----12____~___-----12_________

Grn __________-------~ ------------------____

is this correct?
If OK,

Then you need one 12 second one-shot, one 1/4 second one-shot for G key, one XOR gate and two NAND gates with R current limiting for each series string of 3 LEDs.

Someone else can draw a schematic.
