Dear all

I'm a new user on EDK tool. I want to use this tool to implement and simulate a project (i just want to simulate a project and do not want to implement it on a real FPGA platform). I need some help to perform some tasks. First, what is the appropriate instruction to get data from FSL? I know that write_into_fsl( ) do the work for transmitting data but what is the instruction to receive data? Second, How can i transmit (or receive) data to Microblaze from the environment outside it? Is hyperterminal the only way? is there other available approaches? if so, how can i do this? I think UART is the answer. If so, What instructions should i use?
Please provide me detailed instructions and steps to do the work. thanks in advance. (I use EDK 7.1, if this can help)
