i need help pls..

my old charger isnt working so i tried my sister charger..

my charger was INPUT 100-240V~2.4A(2.4A) 50-60hz OUTPUT 19V(19V) == 4.7A(4.7A)

what might happen if I use INPUT 100-240V-1.7A (1.7A) 50-60hz OUTPUT 18.5V(18.5V)== 3.5A(3.5A) 65W charger...

INPUT 100-240V~2.4A(2.4A) 50-60hz OUTPUT 19V(19V) == 4.7A(4.7A)

I think nothing happens with a 0.5 volt lower on the output side. But the Current of your charger was 4.7A wheras other is 3.5A. This will matter in running or charging the device (Guess it shud be a Laptop). As the current is low, the device may take long time to charge the battreies. Too be sure of the polarity of the new adaptor as it should be identical with the one you were using. My friendly sugession is to get a new replacement for the original charger. Cheers

Re: i need help pls..

I think it is ok to plug in.
You can just try.
If the laptop is charging, then carrying on using.
If not then buy.
No harm trying, as I don't think it will damaged your laptop.
