hey everybody i'm new here and this my first post but really i'm happy to be a member of such great site with great helpful people
i'm new user of Cadence and this my first design
i'm using the TSMC13RF library and firstly i want to know what is the main difference between nmos1v and nmos3v and what is 1v and 3v refers to ?

second : for simple common source amplifier for example

1-how can i calculate the DC gain using cadence ?

2-how can i do nosie analysis ?

3-how can i calculate the power consumption of the circuit ?

4-how can i draw the frequency response, and get the poles of circuit and phase margin ?

if there is any helpful tutorials for these operations please post them

thanks in advance

thanks alot apolama
but can u give me a link for cadence manual ?

Open Cadence ADE
First, Chose the model Library you want to include
Eable DC analysis, AC analysis, noise analysis(Select the frequency you interest)
Then plot the AC magnitude and phase, you can check your GAIN, AC response, Phase margin here.
You can also plot the curve of noise
Plot the DC current from vdd and I*V is your power consumption, for your case CS amplifer, you just obtain the Id of either PMOS or NMOS and mutiply it with Vdd
If you google cadence tutorial, lot of materials will pop up
Good luck

first create your schematic by placing parts..
Then after creating your connections annotate it ...
For stimulation using PSpice goto pspice in window..
Oops thic will be become difficult
So Search "Orcad Flow tutorial" on google and download a pdf will let you know how to start with it and every basic things
