Good day..

I need to program my LED Flasher circuit using PIC16F84A..but I dont know how to program this using my PC..what are the needed parts/components to connect my pc to the chip for programming purposes..thank you very much.

HI,

I use a serial device to program my PIC16f84a. I use a device called JDM or ludipipo(you may have some power supply problems) i prefer using external supply devices. you can find a lot of schematics for this devices. You need to connect this device to your PC's serial port. Then you ned a program to send your .hex file to device. I usually use 'ponyprog' but you can also use ICprog or other programs.
It's a very simple procedure.
