I need 5V/1A from 4NiMh cells - help please

battery powered 5V

The problem seems to be simple, I need 5V/1A from 4NiMh cells. From an input of 4-6 Volts to 5 volt.
Maxim and Linear can't help me or at least I can't find it.
Who can help me?

You also can find similar ic's in analog devices products.Try to search their site.www.analog.com
