Hi All,

Currently I am using finesim tool for characterization using Siliconsmart. I have asked for correlation study, i.e i have to compare the .lib using finesim with the .lib using hspice.
So are there any tool to which we can import the spice netlist and compare the .lib (generated from finesim and hspice).

Regards,
M.Ali

Hi !!

You can compare .libs with siliconsmart (so just do the 2 characterizations, one with hspice and the other with finesim and then use this command) :

compare_liberty
The compare_liberty command provides a simple interface for reporting
the differences between two Liberty files in terms of accuracy differences and
has the following usage:
compare_liberty -ref_lib file -test_lib file [-output file] \
[-type type_list] [-verbose] cells
One or more cells may be compared at once. The default is to compare all cells
in the test library against those in the reference library. If a cell does not appear
in the reference library, an error is reported.
