no convergence in operating point

the FOLLOWING is hspice hint: thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**diagnostic** dc convergence failure,
resetting dcon option to 1 and retrying

**diagnostic** dc convergence failure,
resetting dcon option to 2 and retrying.

no convergence with standard algorithm, trying damped pseudo-transient

**warning** negative-mos conductance = 1:mm64-xi57-xi17-xi86 iter= 7
vds,vgs,vbs = -183. -179. -184.
gm,gds,gmbs,ids= 7.95 0.393 -5.356E-02 37.1
**diagnostic** number of iteration exceeds min(7000, 20*itl1)= 4000 in pseudo
tran process (converge=1 process). Usually this happens when the
models are discontinous, or there are uninitialized bi-stable cells
(flip-flop) in the circuit. By setting options dcon=-1 and converge=-1
you can disable auto convergence process. Retry the run, non-convergence
diagnostics will provide useful information about the nodes and devices
which can be used to work around the non-convergence problems.

no convergence in damped pseudo-transient, trying gmath ramping method

**diagnostic** no convergence in gmath method gmath= 1.176E-03

**error**: no convergence in operating point

***
*** hspice diagnostic ***
nonconvergent voltage failures= 0
nonconvergent element current failures= 1

hspice convergence

Exactly what type of circuit are you trying to simulate?

hspice nonconvergent

set GMINDC in .options statement (but its not good idea always)

hspice convergence error

open the UIC in the option.

dc convergence failure

both method mentioned above is available, you can learn more in the "the user guide of spice and spectre"
