hi
i want to know how many 0.18u library for hspice there are ?
i have a library named 'mm018.l' (TSMC SPICE MODEL ). I want information about this library and if there are another library for 0.18u process what is the difference between them?

The TSMC 'mm018.l' lib is their 'mixed mode' lib, which is valid for their standard analog 0.18µm process. AFAIR they also provide an 'rf018.l' lib for their 0.18µm RF process, which is dedicated for RF designs (containing on-chip inductors).

Any semiconductor fab/foundry provides libs for their own processes, at least for the most used SPICE simulators like HSPICE, ELDO, SPECTRE ...
so there exist a lot of 0.18µm libraries, each one dedicated to one special foundry process.

i use this model for an university project simulation, is it an appropriate model? which model do you recommend to me?

For such task you may use any library, so the 'mm018.l' lib is fine. For a design operating in the several 100Mhz up to a few GHz frequency range, better use the 'rf018.l' lib.
