How to write A/D on CodeVision??

Hello

I do project about pulse oximeter and use micro's AVR ATmega32.
I want to know how to write A/D program on CodeVision if I want to
field IR signal and R signal at PA0 and PA1.And sampling each 5 ms
for seek highest signal and than save that signal for compare whit next signal

What should I write this program??????

help me please ...........................................
