how to use PIC to send sms and how to send AT command

hey guys, I'm currently doing a project and I faced some sms problems.I am using PIC directly connect to handphone, my project is that the sensor will active the PIC to control the handphone which it connected to send a msg to a user(which we store the number in PIC).However can I know is my thinking correct?Cand I use the phone to act as GSM modem and how should I send AT　command from PIC to phone. Thanks for help

which phone you are using??? do search in the forum and find more than 100 solutions as they are already answered many many times...........
