Meshing in CST

Hi,
I am using Time Domain Solver .Recently I was working on a chocke.I did local meshing for the coil. But i found some errors ,like erros in filling with PEC, Same touch planes.

I would be really grateful, if somebody can guide me how to use meshing options effectively.

Regards,
Bibhu

Re: Meshing in CST

Bibhu,

Try to increase meshing locally, i.e. within the chock material.
From my experience the problem of error '...filling with PEC...'etc,
occurs when a meshed cube contains 2 different materials
(PEC with some other dielectric) and
MWS requires to fill in complete that cube with only one type,
and this should be PEC because it has priority over dielectric material.

Hope it helps a bit, :D

Re: Meshing in CST

This error happens if your electrode occupies more than 90% of your mesh volume. consider refining your mesh
