how to use hyperterminal in between the 8051 and SIM300

hi friends...
i am going to program my microcontroller to send and receive the messages by the sim300 module, i am using hyper terminal in between 8051 and GSM so tell me how the hyp terminal is used..give me the tricks to write the program.....plz help me:?:

Why you need 8051, sim300 has built in serial port. Use a max232 or any other level sifters and connect directly to PC.

its simple,, hyperterminal is a software provided my windows....It is just a interface so that you can interact with the devices on the serial port...

there are many other also like Putty, flash magic terminal etc..
