hi,
v r using LM35 to measure the temperature of brine solution. can it b dipped in water directly? if not hw can it b waterproofed??
also can somebody suggest a signal conditioning circuit for it?
thank u

you can cover sensor with steel cover one side open and one side closed and seal terminals after proper soldering by plastic glue then you can dip in brine solution cheers

I've used them by simply soldering insulated wires to them then coating them, including the joints and end of the wires, in epoxy resin. It makes the response time slightly slower but any encapsulation will do that. One here has been in warm Calcium Hypochlorite solution ( a hostile environment!) for several years and is still working fine.

Brian.
