Hello.

I want to use an AVR to interface to a thermal printer, more specifically
to the fujitsu FTP-624MCL502. The module has a 16 pin bus interface
plus a 4 cable interface plus a 5 cable interface (this one, is going to a small
stepper motor). The other pins, I have not a clue what they are doing.

I tried to find a manual or a datasheet, but nothing, in fujitsu site there
is nothing but some windows drivers and some mechanical *.pdf...

I looked in previous threads in this forum but could not find a manual.

Anyone can help me?

I don't want the drivers, I just want the datasheet.

OK, so what am I going to do? Couldn't this model have the same
interface with another one? There must be a way to make this printer
work...

article from turkish electronic paper about thermal printer , not the same brand of printer but i think same concept. article is in Turkish , author says that he will write more in the next issue. You can email him and ask about his experince.

The problem is that I cannot read turkish (I suspect that
you cannot read Greek) and I cannot find a lexico or a
translator from turkish to greek or english in google or
somewhere else in the net.

Do you know where I can find one?

Or if it is easy, can you translate the basics of the
article if you have time???
