I want to test a microstripline where its operating frequency is 2GHz...i want to give an input of 1 V sine (from frequency 1GHz to 5GHz) and want to know what ll be the output voltage..I am not getting how to do that...please some body help me

Re: Designing in ADS

Insert the AC simulation block from the Simulation-AC palette (specify the frequency range) in your schematic

Close both microstrip ends with the correct impedance (tipically 50 Ohm)

Insert V_AC generator as excitation (from the Sources-Freq Domain palette)

Doulbe click on the outuput node, enter a label (e.g. V_out) then click on the same node again

Simulate

Insert a rectangular plot in the data display window and select AC.V_out
