you only need FLIP (FLexible In-system Programmer) for uploading your firmware into the internal flash: http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/tools_card.asp?tool_id=2767
This is done via USB and Atmels' Bootloader-ROM. So the only special hardware needed is an USB jack and 3 resistors.
hello Mr mic have you programmed this 89c5131 yourself. the next thing that i want to ask is upto what extent can this controller handle the protocols itself.
