Hello

I have some RF ICs with QFN package ,it have no lead/pin, how can I solder them?Is there any way to solder it ?(without automatic machines, by hand and some tools)

Re: QFN mountage?

Steady hand, peaceful mind, proper soldering tools (tips), thin solder wire, flux.
The pictures show QFN-16, operating from DC-20GHz (digital design) on a 1mm-thick FR-4 PCB.

Re: QFN mountage?

thanks

Have FLUX any effect on RF performance of the IC?

how I solder the GND plate under the IC in QFN package?

Re: QFN mountage?

Don't know about flux effect and it seemed to me that it doesn't have great effect on rf on my boards.

I've soldered the exposed pad from the under side on the pcb. Is there another way?

Re: QFN mountage?

is there any soldering station (with manual control) to solder QFN Ics with reflow soldering.

Is there any QFN stencil available in market ? how to print solder mask on it?

is there any solder point with low temp point?(200 degree C)?
