Hello everybody,

I'm designing several circuits for a Direct conversion receiver at 5.8 GHz but I'm finding problems when simulating the mixer. I'm using ADS and the problem is that the frequency of both RF and OL signals is the same (that's why it is direct conversion), but if I enter these frequencies in ADS and make an HB simulation the simulator give incorrect results. In order to give correct results I have to separate both frequencies for example 0.1 Hz. :sm17:
I did it this way but there are some effects like how DC affect the circuit and more...than can be seen simulating this way
Has anybody did this type of simulation?, How have you solve the problem?

Thank you very much :bye:
