i'm new in the pic world and i have a final project using pic18f4550.
in my project i need to use the internal ADC of the pic,but i don't know how
to set the sample rate.
i tried with the datasheet but got nothing.
also i need to know how long it takes to convert an analog input to its

Most applications use to start individual ADC conversions by software. 18F4550 has however the option to start the ADC by a (CCP1) timer event. Data processing would be initiated by an ADC EOC interrupt in this case. The 18F4550 datasheet has all necessary details.

i'm trying to get the digital form of an audio with sample rate 8KHz
how to make the ADC sampling with this rate?
