How to sense the USB connection of a device?

hi,
i am using kiel rtx with lpc2148 for USB-CDC(virtual com).
every thing is fine and i have sensed the USB connection with "USB_Configuration" in the program.
but couldnt sense the disconnection.
is there any way to sense the disconnection of the device
