agilent spectrum analyzer *.sta file

My Spectrum analyzer is Agilent ESA E4404B, I can save my measurement result as a .sta file.
Can I translate it to .jpg file?
What software do I need? My os is windows.
thank you.

Try using a low cost software called "Softplot".
It's able to download (using GPIB, that you should have installed on your PC) measurement data from a lot of instruments, and make a lot of postprocessing.
I hope it can help.

SoftPlot is an excellent choiche.
Alternatively Agilent provide Intuilink (for free) and BenchLink.
It's possible download from SA data and/or picture.

I remember the you can select the geometry formate to save the result .
Good luck !

Thank you for your kindness.

But can I transfer translate .sta file to .jpg file directly?
I only have the .sta file.

Thank you again.

I think *.sta files contains propertarly data while *.jpg is a graphic.
Perhaps only an Agilent software may do the conversion.

I have used this type of spectrum analyzer and it has three default catalogs (directories):
• State, which stores analyzer settings(.sta file).
• Trace, which stores trace information.
• Screen, which stores screen captures of the display in .gif or .wmf format.
Trace files are not bitmap files. Files saved as Trace cannot be imported into
other applications or converted. If you require the use of other applications,
for example Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel, be sure to save your files as
.gif or .wmf formats using Screen for your file Type.
