Hi all,

I have design a power board AC to DC as using non-isolated topology.
Now I found that my inductor the temperature very higher, more than 100 degree celcium. The operating spec of the inductor just go to 85 degree celcium only.

Have any idea to reduce the temperature of the inductor?

Thanks

two options for temp reduction:

redesign the inductor with a incresed dia wire
or
have a core with less core loss.

Or make sure the core isn't saturated very often. Select an inductor that can handle at least the maximum expected current over time.
