Hello ALL,
is it Intel HEX format?
I had read Intel HEX format has 6 types of records 00,01,02,03,04,05
if I'll look second line 09 is count of bytes,0300 is address and 25 is record type???
Thank your for your help.
Not sure about that '25' as a record type, it doesn't comply with Intel's Hex Format but there's no reason why it shouldn't be used for a specific purpose by someone. In most cases I would guess it would be ignored anyway as only the address, data and checksum are needed for programming.
There are several variations of the format with new record types to handle very large or segmented memory devices, ones where the address field has insufficent range.
