Hello master's i am getting problem while box type capacitor.Till now i have used disc and electrolytic capacitors many times and rarely
used box type capacitor.
i have one that is .47k63 and other one is .1J63, 10nK63. so how to find out this capaciors.
i have attached photo of one this capacitor.
It's a 0.47µF/63V, 10% tolerance box type capacitor. 0.47 is capacitance in micro-farad, k tolerance (J=5%, k=10%, M=20%, etc...,), 63 is the maximum voltage rating of the capacitor
You will also find the "n" used as a decimal point like 4n7J63 which is 4.7nF (0.0047uf) 5% and 63V capacitor.
Oriental "green caps" (but some are reddish-brown) use 104K to say 10 followed by four zeros to make 10000 pico-Farads which is 100nF which is 0.1uF. J is 5%, K is 10% and M is 20% tolerance.
