hello friends,
i m working on a project to generate frequency sweeped signal using DDS(Ad9858), i have to control its register using 89C51Ed microcontroller......can anybody guide me regarding this.....

Which programming language are you familiar with, Assembly or C?

actually we r using KIEL software to compile the c language in assembly.....

it is better to use 89s51 and this u can easily program through various progarmmers,

go to atmels site and download the latest version of flip.

( i think its version 2.4.4)

It supports 89C51ED2.

software works very well even in windows XP for ISP programming. Also has batchisp for command line.

here u will find a schamatic to build ur microcontroller programmer and the necessary SW to burn ur chip with ur code.
