How to open .cshrc file on Solaris 9?

significance of .cshrc file in solaris

When I install EDA stuff to Sun Solaris 9, I can open .cshrc file in text editor, because I can't see .cshrc file in file list window. Then I goto terminal mode, what command can invoke text editor to edit this hiden file?

(I hate to use vi.)

you can use : textedit .cshrc
On my own, I use gvim (graphical improved vi)
(=vi with many language syntax recognition to add colors and many functions)
