I would like to simulate a VCO with phase noise, and see the result of it
demodulated by FM demodulator.

I want to perform it in cadence or ADS. anybody has the idea how to do it?
any behavioral model I can use?

thanks,

I can download a tuturial from. It shows you how to get the phase noise from ADS.

I'm sorry for my missleading. I needn't design a vco and get its phase noise.
What I want is to represent a vco with an user specified phase noise in Cadence
or ADS.
I would like to know the relation between phase noise and SNR of which the
carrier is demodulated by a FM demodulator.

I think you can define the phase noise in the VCO model

Did you mean the VCO model of @DS?

Thanks,
