Stabilize Transimpedance Amplifier Circuit Design | Maxim In
This application note explains how to calculate the optimum value of feedback capacitance required to stabilize an op amp in a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) configuration.www.maximintegrated.com
Some useful ref material.
Regards, Dana.
I just tested every link, seems to work fine.
The first two links just take you to a web page, you would have to print
the article they refer to.
Regards, Dana
Are you logged into TI ? Maybe that would help.
TI docs attached.
Regards, Dana.
I dont have ADS, its a tad costly to own for a retiree.
The docs simply background on measurements.
ADS does not have any videos/examples of doing that measurement on their
site ?
Regards, Dana.
I cant seem to find whole book but start with this an try various
searches for other chapters -

Second link a sim of standard amp.
Basically you would drive the TIA with a current source, and sweep its frequency and plot output.
Vert scale output log, Horizon scale log or lin, freq.

The bode plot look right except Y axis in dbM (its actually V/I or impedance) so not sure
thats correct. Using math capability in ADS you should be able to plot Vout/Vin where Vin is
node V at current source. You could use a V src versus I source to drive, but should AC
couple it so you do not disturb bias point of stage.
Yes the photodiode replaces the I source in your application.
