How to make a simulated inductance?

Does anyone know how can we make " simulated inductance " (a circuit that acts as an inductor without using coils) ? Please put the circuit schematics .

this gyrator circuit can be used only for a fixed frequency because the frequency dependence of the impedance is similar to that of the capacitor ... this gyrator is used in a voltage divider type of connection to obtain actual coil less inductor....
