What is the right way to make a Mono Audio Analog Signal out of two Stereo Audio Analog Signals?

Stereo - > Mono

you can use 2 resistors about 4.7 K ohm.
connect one of them to channel left and one of them to channel right.
and connect other side of resistor together. this connection will be mono output.

Re: Stereo - > Mono

Yeah, this passive combining is OK, if you don't want a mono channel beside left+right, because it creates a coupling or crosstalk to the other channel. If you want a mono beside left+right, then the right way would be using an active stereo-to-mono circuit (2 OP amps or two transistors, etc).
