I am making a test board based MIPS, I have read some MIPS documents.

I think that most documents tell me how to write the software, but I want know more about the hardware.

I know that after the reset, the cpu fetch the instruction from flash/rom, this is said as bootloader.

But I don't know how can I assure that the cpu can get the instruction correctly?

In many place, there are serval memory devices in the board, such as flash and SDRAM, sometimes the falsh

and SDRAM shared the data bus, flash is 16-bits width while SDRAM is 32-bits width, the case become more

complicated for the beginner like me.

Could someone can tell me how to start my work and what material I should read?

Thanks a lot.

Does someone have any documents about Lexra risc cpu?
I need some paper for reference.
Thanks.
